Job Description
Job Description-
- Lead end-to-end Supply Chain Management, including procurement, planning, inventory, stores, inbound logistics and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Develop sourcing strategies and ensure timely material availability while optimizing inventory levels and procurement costs.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive vendor development to improve quality, delivery and commercial performance.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Planning, Projects, Quality and Finance for seamless execution of customer orders.
- Monitor inventory health, material ageing and logistics performance to improve supply chain efficiency and working capital.
- Lead, mentor and develop SCM teams while driving process improvements, digitization and best supply chain practices.
- Monitor SCM KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve supplier performance, inventory turnover and on-time delivery.
Qualification -
Diploma / B.E. (Electrical / Mechanical)
Preferred Additional Qualification- MBA – SCM
Mandatory Requirements-
- 15–20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within the LV & MV Switchboard or Electrical Equipment industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing procurement, planning, stores, logistics and supplier networks for manufacturing operations exceeding ₹150+ Crore annually.
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, cost optimization, inventory planning and working capital management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP, MIS reporting and data-driven decision-making.

Technical skills-
- Strong knowledge of procurement, warehouse operations, inbound logistics and supply chain processes.
- Expertise in contract management, supplier evaluation, supplier rating and commercial analysis.
- Sound understanding of MRP, demand forecasting, inventory control techniques (ABC, FSN, Min-Max) and supply planning.
- Proficiency in import/domestic sourcing, commercial terms, GST and procurement documentation.
- Good understanding of LV & MV switchboards, electrical components, BOMs and manufacturing supply chain requirements.
- Competent in using AI-driven technologies to improve supply chain visibility, automate key SCM processes, enhance productivity, and support strategic decision-making through real-time MIS and analytics.
